A researcher from Mexico Michoacan’s University of san Nicola Hidalgo has discovered how to modify the micro-structure of cement in order to increasing its ability to absorb solar energy and return it to environment as light. So the result is a particular type of cement: during the day it absorbs light and during the night it is able to emit light for about 12 hours.
