Art Tugade, Incoming transportation Secretary of Philippines, said that the Government is considering the use of cable cars to facilitate metro traffic in Manila. The idea is to adopt a system similar to the Bolivian one, that since 2014 is helping to reduce road traffic and speed up travel time: this is an 11-kilometer system of cable cars, the largest in the world.
